HALAL FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY POLICY
Karim Containers (Pvt.) Ltd commits to take all necessary steps to ensure that all food packaging produced and handled under the scope of Halaal, Food Safety & Quality Management Systems will be Food Safe and hygienic for human consumption. In order to ensure above stated commitment, the company will take necessary measures, including following:
- All activities of our business will be carried out in compliance with all applicable standards and other requirements including following:
- Halaal (PS 3733:2022 OIC/SMIIC-1:2019), Food Safety, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Management Systems Including FSSC 22000;
- All applicable legal, statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Mutually agreed requirements of our customers.
- Adequate resources will be provided by the management to ensure Halaal, food safety and quality said resources include finance, manpower, premises, facilities and equipment.
- Interactive communication (both external and internal) will be ensured in such a way that:
- Sufficient information is available throughout the food chain on issues concerning halaal, food safety and quality.
- Effectiveness of the management system is maintained.
- Effective training & development will be provided to all of our employees to make them responsible and accountable for the halaal, food safety and quality aspects of their own work.
- All procedures will be strictly followed, monitored and verified to ensure effective implementation of this Policy.
- The Management System will be reviewed at planned intervals and will be continually improved to ensure continual provision of Safe and Best Quality packaging products to our valued customers.
